Action BoardAction Board Summary: Very complex arrangement of levers and pivots, blued steel springs screwed to backs of levers, with smaller bone pallets to accomodate the increasing quantities of reeds being added as the Instrument design developed. Action Board Springs: Blued-steel strip-springs mounted onto back of levers. Action Board Pallets: Small bone pallets, all of similar size. Action Board Securing-screw pattern: Trio of wooden cylindrical supports receiving the three screws from strap, finger-rest and top fret area. Action Board Labels: L & R on on outer rim, R & L and '147' on inner faces. Note names stamped adjacent to each pallet. |
