Action BoardAction Board Summary: Each end's action board holds 12 note-named Brass-capped wooden-cored keys (two RH caps absent) mounted on long brass wire levers, held to the flat rectangular base-board by a simple hooked wire pillar. There is just one rectangular chamois-capped support pillar for the frets, and there are two rows of six white card pallets, (some with later leather facings) each with note numbers and letter codes ("LG8", "R10"etc - see images) for the notes stamped and then inked into the wood adjacent to the pallets.
