Bellows

Bellows Summary: 4-Fold green "Bookbinder's" leather bellows, the frame flush with the action frame. With another early appearance of the gilt "Circle and Dot" patterned white papers found on many subsequent instruments, and of the use of a silk reinforcement glued over the leather of the bottom bout of the bellows-frame. later conventional triangular corner inserts support the reed pans within the bellows-frame.

Bellows Inside Material: Glossy brown chamois.

Inner Bellows Cradle: An array of Six triangular mounts (all spread equally around the the inner bellows-frame) to support the reed-pan.

Bellows Inner Serial Nos: 630 in top corner of bellows-frame.

Bellows Folds and Features: 4-Fold green "Bookbinder's" leather bellows, the frame flush with the action frame. With another early appearance of the gilt "Circle and Dot" patterned white papers found on many subsequent instruments, and of the use of a silk reinforcement glued over the leather of the bottom bout of the bellows-frame.

Bellows Leather colour: Dark Green shiny leather.
