Reed Pans Left Hand Cross Pieces: LH: 2 cork cross-pieces in small reed-chambers. Reeds Summary: Square-end brass beds, with brass tongues, (very broad tongues to bass reeds), secured with two tall and domed brass screws, securing a brass cross-piece: all of the treble reeds' cross-pieces have Open-Sides to the screw areas, a feature that has been linked to early parts suppliers and manufacturers such as Nickolds.
