End Bolts: Medium cheese-head domed pale brass bolts, showing signs of much use, securing the fretwork end to the action frame and bellows. Fret Pattern: Standard Louis Lachenal 1850s pattern Label Embouchure Pattern: Oval embouchure for maker's label and slightly scalloped one for a serial number (both present). Strap Screw-insert type: Inset circular brass disc with one steel securing screw. Finger-rest: Scalloped rim nickel, no evidence of cladding. Fret Condition: Good: some scratching around end-bolts. Damage Summary: Top case-strap leather absent. Some scratching around end-bolts. |
