End Frets

Summary: A full patterned machine-cut fret area of stained mahogany frets, in the standard pattern of most 2- and 3-row middle quality, red-stained mahogany anglo production.

End Shape: Hexagonal

End Sides: Six

End Diameter: 157.5mm

End-Profile: Bevelled edges.

End Material: The fretwork-frame and action frame and plinth are stained mahogany.

End Bolts: Flat shallow cheese-head steel bolts, (used on most budget anglo production from this period) securing the fretwork end to the action frame and bellows.

Fret Pattern: A full patterned machine-cut fret area of stained mahogany frets, in the standard pattern of most 2- and 3-row middle quality, red-stained mahogany anglo production.

Label Embouchure Pattern: Oval embouchure for maker's label and three-part scalloped one for a serial number (both present).

Strap Screw-insert type: Inset circular brass disc with one steel securing screw.

Fret Condition: Good.

Damage Summary: Later straps, dealer's label, bellows repairs.
