End Frets

Summary: A very simple machine-cut pattern of two oval areas of varnished mahogany frets, not in a standard pattern.

End Shape: Hexagonal.

End Sides: Six.

End Diameter: 158mm.

End-Profile: Flat.

End Material: The fretwork-frame and action frame and plinth edgings are varnished mahogany.

End Bolts: Domed-head steel bolts, several missing. (As used on most early and budget anglo production in this period) securing the fretwork end to the action frame and bellows.

Label Embouchure Pattern: Central RH oval embouchure for maker's label (missing) but no embouchure for serial number to LH.

Strap Screw-insert type: No inserts - screws direct to action frame.

Damage Summary: No case, or straps, corroded end-bolts, some fret damage.
