End FretsSummary: A decorative machine-cut pattern of varnished mahogany frets, in the standard pattern of most early 2- and 3-row George Jones anglo production. End Shape: Hexagonal. End Sides: Six. End Diameter: 156mm. End-Profile: Flat, with slightly bevelled edges. End Material: The fretwork-frame and action frame and plinth are varnished mahogany. End Bolts: Domed-head steel bolts, (used on most early and budget anglo production in this period) securing the fretwork end to the action frame and bellows. Label Embouchure Pattern: Oval embouchure for maker's label (now a dealer's label) and two-part scalloped one for a serial number (absent). Strap Screw-insert type: No inserts - screws direct to action frame. Damage Summary: Case, strap missing, some damage to LH frets. |
