Summary

Full Description: A mid-1880s George Jones 48-Key Amboyna-ended treble English concertina. Later Salvationist Supplies oval gilt-on-black label. Serial No 21086, with later well-made contemporary straps, and later ill-fitting Wheatstone & Co, West Street cubic leather case. Fancy silver corner inlays to frets, engraved patterns to sides of nickel finger-rests. Green leather five-fold gilt-embossed bellows, baffles absent. The bellows have fine gilt-on-black bellows papers in a fancy diamond pattern.
