Fingering System: Two-row anglo-german layout, with extra keys to the top row of each end, (which are numbered "0" to "5" and two further extra keys above each end of the top row, numbered "11" and "12".

Key/Buttons Summary: Two-row anglo-german layout, with an extra sixth key to the top row of each end, (which are numbered "0" to "5" and two further extra keys above each end of the top row, numbered "11" and "12".

Keys/Buttons Quantity: 5+6+2+Air-lever to RH, 5+6+2 to LH.

Keys/Buttons Material: Broad flat ebony keys, that are glued to the tips of wooden levers within the action area.

Keys/Buttons Labelling: All keys are stamped with numbers, from "0" to "12", on each end.

Keys/Buttons Bushing: No.

Keys/Buttons Base Mounting: The keys have a thin felt layer between key bottom and the lever to which they are glued, to allow a little play and movement when the keys are operated.

Air Button method: The RH end has a Jones-style air-lever, pivoted into the hand-bar, whose inset brass pin passes through the frets and acts on a spring-loaded trapdoor-style air-flap on the inner face of the reed-plate area.
