Summary: A hand-cut pattern of hexagonal flat ebony-veneered ends, with fancy brass inlays to corners, bevelled edges, embouchures for maker's label and for a serial number. The fretwork-frame and action frame are ebony-veneered.

End Shape: Hexagonal.

End Sides: Six.

End Diameter: 168mm.

End-Profile: Flat, with bevelled edges.

End Material: Ebony veneer.

End Bolts: Tall cheese-head brass bolts.

Fret Pattern: Oval RH label cartouche, smaller oval LH number cartouche.

Label Embouchure Pattern: Oval to RH, small oval to LH.

Strap Screw-insert type: Inset rectangular brass insert, secured by two steel screws to action frame.

Finger-rest: Curved-end bevelled edged nickel finger-rests. Three securing screws.

Fret Condition: Some cracking, poor finish.

Damage Summary: No case, LH fret damage.
