Full Description: A large plate photograph of Boris Matusewitch in evening dress, playing his ebony Aeola. He was a noted concertina artist, and his Carnegie Concert Hall concerts featured much of the classic concertina repertoire. (see Item NC.1.1.1-053 ). Harry Minting visited the Matusewitch brothers in New York, and they sent him many of their arrangements (see these musical items in this section, NC.2.1.1.1 ) Boris imported many instruments from Wheatstone's. Neil Wayne interviewed Boris in 1968 at his New York studio.
