Summary: Hexagonal laminated rosewood probably added pre-1840 when original frets and bellows replaced.

End Shape: Hexagonal

End Sides: Six

End Diameter: 147mm

End-Profile: Flat

End Material: Three-ply laminated rosewood

End Bolts: Mix of tall and short cheese-head brass.

End Stamps / Labels: Oval paper "His Maj" label applied to surface of RH end: no label embouchure on these frets.

Fret Pattern: Unusual pre-1840 replacements - no label or number embouchures

Strap Screw-insert type: Rectangular nickel, with two steel screws, inste fully into side of action frame.

Finger-rest: Tall, Curved ended

Fret Condition: Good

Damage Summary: Fair: worn straps, later extended ends.
