Action Board Summary: The instrument's Action is made up of a slotted pivot column with wound-brass springs, (signs of earlier spring-insertion holes in action) and brass-sheet levers, broader within the pivot area, and the pallets are now circular cardboard, a material used on almost all subsequent instruments

Action Board Pivot: A slotted pivot column

Action Board Levers: Brass-sheet levers, broader within the pivot area

Action Board Springs: Brass wound springs, pinned into action board and clipped under lever, with signs of previous springs due to pinholes in the action board.

Action Board Pallets: Small brown cardboard pallets, all of similar size.

Action Board Securing-screw pattern: Four wooden cylindrical supports receiving the four screws from strap, finger-rest, and top & bottom of the circular key plate area.

Action Board Sub-fret-board Supports: 3 Rectangular chamois-topped pillars
