Action BoardAction Board Summary: The instrument's Action is made up of a slotted brass sheet plate, vertical slot, Wound-brass springs, and brass-sheet levers, broader within the pivot area, and the pallets are now circular pale cardboard, a material used on almost all subsequent instruments. This instrument has the white Chamois baffle from a later concertina, (Serial No 5335 still visible), inserted below each end's Pine Baffle and above the pallets, possibly to add a muffling effect.
