Summary: Fine machine-cut rosewood frets, chamfered edges, Brass-inlaid design, with Gilt embossed green Leather straps and plain black leather-clad finger-rests. A white chamois leather sub-fret baffle.

End Shape: Hexagonal

End Sides: Six

End Diameter: 157.5mm

End-Profile: Flat, with chamfered edges.

End Material: Fine machine-cut rosewood frets, chamfered edges, Brass-inlaid to the corners.

End Bolts: Medium cheese-head nickel/brass pale metal bolts - another early appearance of the use on nickel alloy for end-bolts.

Fret Pattern: Fine machine-cut rosewood frets, Brass-inlaid design.

Label Embouchure Pattern: Oval to RH, scalloped shape to LH

Strap Screw-insert type: Inset circular brass disc with one brass securing screw, one at each side.

Finger-rest: Standard format curved-end brass finger-rests, with full original leather cladding to all faces. Three securing screws.

Fret Condition: very fine.

Damage Summary: Case key, top strap, and lock embouchure absent.
