Action Board

Action Board Summary: The instrument's Action is made up of a curve-topped brass-sheet pillar with riveted pivot, and retains the brass-strip levers, broader at the Pivot. Pallets are now circular pale cardboard, with those to bass reeds of a larger diameter, and with several of the small-notes' pallets trimmed at the side to fit the space available.

Action Board Pallets: The pallets are circular pale cardboard, with those to bass reeds of a larger diameter, and with several of the small-notes' pallets trimmed at the side to fit the space available. .

Action Board Securing-screw pattern: Another appearance of just two wooden cylindrical supports receiving the screws from strap, finger-rest; no screws or supports now used in the top fret area.

Action Board Sub-fret-board Supports: No supports, since baffle is now a white chamois leather sub-fret baffle, glued to sub-fret area.
