Item Type: Concertina
End FretsSummary: Later style, less intricate (but still hand-cut) pattern of hexagonal flat single-ply rosewood, with embouchures for maker's label and for a serial number (only maker's label present). The divided end arrangements of Fretwork-frame and action frame are of Rosewood veneer. The "Double" was manufactured without finger-rests, but this model has had brass finger-rests fitted, with evidence from screw holes sub-fret that the rests had been moved inwards toward the keys, with a fancy brass plate added to conceal the old screw holes. There is evidence from extra screw holes sub-fret that the rests had been moved inwards toward the keys, with a fancy brass plate added to conceal the old screw holes. Three securing screws.
