Action Board Summary: The instrument's Action is made up of a slotted dome-topped brass sheet plate, with vertical slot. Wound-brass springs, and brass-sheet levers, broader within the pivot area, and the pallets are now circular pale cardboard, the top pallets somewhat smaller.

Action Board Pallets: The pallets are now circular pale cardboard, a material used on almost all subsequent instruments.
Action Board Securing-screw pattern: Trio of wooden cylindrical supports receiving the three screws from strap, finger-rest and top fret area. The thumb-strap pillar is now moved to new position.
Action Board Sub-fret-board Supports: 3 Rectangular chamois-topped pillars, the lower RH support pierced to allow lever to pass through it.
