Keys/Buttons Material: Dome-Nickel-plated keys with wooden cores and integral pegs. The nickel caps have two crimped indentations below fret-level to secure them to their wooden cores.

Keys/Buttons Labelling: None

Keys/Buttons Bushing: Dark felt bushing to all keys, the bushings fixed to a large scalloped-shape softwood "Bushing Board" pinned across the key area beneath the frets, the sheet bearing the "548" Batch Number.

Keys/Buttons Base Mounting: Standard peg, single very thick dark felt washer per key.

Air Button method: Single RH air Button, identical in design to note keys, but operating a large air valve pallet.
