Reeds and Reed PansReed Pans Summary: Very simple radial pans with large central hole, inset flush to bellows-frame, and with narrow dividers clad in conventional orange chamois. Note-names are stamped in the outer chambers, and the lower, bass-reed chambers have individual wooden baffles inserted to reduce air-flow to the louder bass reeds. The pans are flush to the bellows-frame and reed-pans. Reed Pans Stamps: L & R Twice Reed Pans Serial Numbers: 349 Twice Reed Pans Gasketry: Pale yellow chamois. Reed Pans Right Hand Cross Pieces: None. Reed Pans Left Hand Cross Pieces: None. Reeds Summary: 45 pairs of wedge profiled, sharply-narrowing to the ends, square-ended reeds, brass frames and nickel tongues each secured by two brass screws. Reed Frame Material: Very tapered brass reed frames. Reed Tongue Material: Nickel Reed Frame Shape: Very tapered, and square-ended.
