Fingering System: Anglo-German.

Key/Buttons Summary: 22 + 1 Key Anglo system - an early layout of the basic Anglo with two extra accidental black keys, giving a 22+1-key format.

Keys/Buttons Quantity: 22 numbered white bone keys, plus a extra black accidental key to each end, plus 1 flat-topped air-valve key.

Keys/Buttons Material: Broad flat bone keys.

Keys/Buttons Base Mounting: Single red felt washer. The turned bottom pegs of the bone buttons enter directly to holes in action board.

Air Button method: The Air key acts upon a short lever lifting an large oval pallet air valve flap on the outer face of the RH action board.
