Summary: A machine-cut pattern of hexagonal flat single-ply, mahogany with embouchures for maker's label and for a serial number (label absent), and the "trefoil" pattern to the lower areas of each end's frets, in common with most later Nickolds' instruments.The fretwork-frame and action frame are solid mahogany.

Strap Screw-insert type: No inserts - screws direct to action frame.
Finger-rest: Curved-end corroded steel finger-rests with partial original cladding . Three securing screws. .
Fret Condition: Some scratching.
Damage Summary: Later rough straps, no top strap.
