Summary: A plain machine-cut pattern of hexagonal flat single-ply, grained rosewood, with embouchures for maker's label and for a serial number (both missing). Another appearance of the Nickolds fret pattern with the trefoil feature in the lower section of the frets

End Shape: Hexagonal

End Sides: Six

End Diameter: 155mm

End-Profile: Flat

End Material: Single ply rosewood ends, veneered sides.

End Bolts: Medium height domed cheese-head brass bolts, some steel replacements.

End Stamps / Labels: No

Fret Pattern: Oval RH label cartouche, smaller oval LH number cartouche.

Label Embouchure Pattern: Oval Cartouche

Strap Screw-insert type: No inserts - screws direct to action frame.

Finger-rest: Brass sheet, corroded and no leather cladding, three screws.

Fret Condition: Fair.

Damage Summary: Replaced thumb-straps, missing baffles.
