Full Description: A first edition, (signed by the author Prof Allan W Atlas, and dedicated to Neil Wayne), of “The Wheatstone Concertina in Victorian England, Clarendon Press, Oxford, 1996”.This fine volume was the first major work on both creation of the concertina, and the first to present an edition and study of five landmark pieces composed and arranged for the Victorian concertina enthusiasts. Prof Atlas spent several weeks in 1995 researching the Collection then housed at Neil Wayne’s Concertina Museum, Belper, to help the research for this volume.
