Full Description: A first edition of "Gloucestershire Biographical Notes" by Joseph Stratford, published at the Gloucester Journal, April 1887.The volume contains a series of articles on "county worthies", including a 13-page treatise on "Sir Chas Wheatstone, D.C.L., F.R.S, 1802 - 1875."  There is much of interest about Wheatstone's early family history, and Mr Stratford includes early family information from his meeting with Sir Charles' "venerable" sister!
