Full Description: A large and complete William Wheatstone boxwood and Ivory flute with "Patent" metal tuning slide, and several "Wheatstone" and "Patent" stamps to the boxwood body.   There are three original silver pallet keys, one absent.  There are examples of Wheatstone flutes and embouchures in the Dayton C Miller Flute Collection, in the Music Division of the Library of Congress,USA .
