Full Description: A letter from the ex-conductor of the Mexborough English Concertina Prize Band W B Watson, hand written on the Band's letterhead showing the Band, their prize records, and repertoire details. Mr Watson tells the tale of the Band's post WW11 decline, says that there were but 6 members left, and asks for details of The Concertina Newsletter (Neil Wayne's enthusiasts' magazine of the late '60s and early 1970s). It was addressed to, and donated by - archivist Dave Eyre of Sheffield.
