Summary

Full Description: A pair of nautical fellows, one smoking a clay pipe and holding a fair representation of a 2-Row Lachenal-style concertina. This is but one of the many images and cartoons that helped perpetuate the myth that concertinas were a common and popular instrument of 19th century sailors.
