Pan inset flush to bellows-frame, and with narrow dividers clad in the common pale yellow chamois. The pans are flush to the bellows-frame and reed-pans. Annular L Lachenal pan-label, with Lachenal details excised. Reed Pans Main Labels: Round L Lachenal, Lit James St., type label, (Lachenal address details excised) but with note-names and reed-frame size codes. Reed Pans Stamps: L & R Reed Pans Gasketry: Yellow Chamois Reed Pans Right Hand Cross Pieces: RH: 4 Wooden cross-pieces, (superceding the previous use of cork cross-pieces), each white chamois-capped, on top chambers Reed Pans Left Hand Cross Pieces: LH: 4 Wooden cross-pieces, (superceding the previous use of cork cross-pieces), each white chamois-capped, on top chambers Reeds Summary: Round end brass, with brass tongues and steel screws, stamped with note names Reed Frame Material: Brass, some steel replacements. Reed Tongue Material: Brass Reed Frame Shape: Round-ended Reed Tongue Profile: Parallel Reed Securing Screws: The Brass tongues each secured by a pair of steel cheese-head screws. Stamps on Reed Frames: Note-Names, plus each reed with the tiny stamp of the "Reed-frame size number" (corresponding with the adjacentnumber on the radial pan label). |
